Tim Markatos is a writer, designer, and photographer who lives and works in Washington, D.C.
His writing has appeared in The Weekly Standard, Public Orthodoxy, Commonweal, The American Interest, First Things, Bright Wall Dark Room, Full Stop, The American Conservative, and Acculturated, where he has written about film, culture, religion, and their intersections from a nonpartisan, intellectually curious perspective.
Currently he works full-time as a designer and photographer in the nonprofit sector. He still tweets his ideas about art, literature, film, theology, and society. He also runs a monthly newsletter about cinema.
