The Films of 2013: A Dynamic List

Here is a dynamic list of the films of 2013 I have seen so far. Since international release dates are crazy, my criteria for what constitutes a "2013 film" are equally wonky; for example, I saw "Amour" in theatres this year but am leaving it off the list because it opened in New York in 2012, whereas "Lore", another 2012 film, makes it onto this list because it didn't come to American shores until just this year.

The rankings set forth here are liable to change as I let the movies marinate in the slow-cooker of my brain, and we will most likely end up with a year-end top 10 list that bears little resemblance to the top 10 films on any given day before I actually sit down to rethink what films deserve to make the cut.
